Rea Contracting LLC trains its quality control personnel not only to design, evaluate and control asphalt mixes, but to test compaction on stone base and soils. Under select conditions concrete is tested for specification limits.

Rea Contracting, LLC is one of a small number of paving contractors in the United States with state-of-the-art central design laboratories. Indeed, we have two such facilities, one in Charlotte, and one in Columbia.

With the industry's latest design and testing equipment, we can create sophisticated mixes to meet and exceed the contracting agency's specifications. These labs provide us more knowledge about the mixes we design and place than any other competitor. Each plant includes a testing lab staffed by qualified technicians who receive extensive and ongoing training in the latest asphalt technology.
